Drop’s – Carousel Waltz

Song & Lyrics: Nakano Miho
Translation: Kafka

It’s fine even if you’re lying, just please praise me more
Even if everything disappears by tomorrow morning

A record spins
A glass cork, I’m just drinking from a straw
I didn’t know that there’s an end to having fun
Dizzy, I dance

Wearing a muffler that smells of cigarettes
I line up beautifully colored empty bottles
I’m humming in the summer of America
The tall buildings in the winter of Shinjuku

It’s fine even if you’re lying, just please praise me more
Set the words on fire and make them like bottled jam

In a blue one-piece, even turning on the silent radio
Don’t put anything on my coffee
It’s fine as black

Carrying a heavy backpack
I boarded the bus, goodbye
I’m distancing far off this dark brown town

It’s fine even if you’re lying, just please praise me more
What is true or not, I don’t care, I just wanna drown
Even if I disappear by tomorrow morning, right now, I dance to the waltz

ahhh, even I disappear.

*I absolutely love this song, just classic blues rock n roll. This is what I like about this girl band, their sound is just RAW and refined. Their music reminds me of the 80s-90s. Just good ol’ Rock n’ Roll and Blues! xD
