Negoto – week…end

Lyrics: Sachiko Aoyama
Music: Mizuki Masuda, Sachiko Aoyama
Translator: Kafka

The empty shells of yesterday that fell on the floor
It would be great if I could take them out on flammable garbage day

Because cruel people are gathering in front of the usual station
Seems like I have no place to go home

I want to see you right now…

Feeling orange towards depression
The town is inclining towards me
Despite being illuminated, I still can’t breathe
Bye Bye

The words of a pinky promise, is there any point in such thing?
Voices fade away when drawing a parabola

Wanting know whats at the end of your extending shadow
I hopped on a bus but there’s nothing left
The figure of your back, its fine just pointing at it
I miss you…

Feeling orange towards depression
The town is inclining towards me
Its the weekend and yet the world is loosing its color
Bye Bye
Farewell

Japanese Lyrics:

kinou no nukegara ga yuka ni ochita mama
moeru gomi no hi ni daseba yokatta na

itsumo no ekimae wa hidoi hito no mure de
doko ni mo kaeru basho wa nai you desu

ima aitai…

orenji ni shizumu
machi ga katamuiteyuku
terasarete mo iki ga dekinai
bye bye

kotoba no yubikiri tte sonna ni imi ga an no
houbutsusen egaite wa kieru koe

nobiru kage no saki wo shiritakute
basu ni tobi noru mou nani mo nai
ushiro sugata wo yubisasarete mo ii
aitai…

orenji ni shizumu
machi ga katamuiteyuku
iroaseteku sekai no shumatsu
bye bye
sayounara

*while translating this song, I already knew this was a depressing sad song. The song feels like drifting through life without inspiration. A fleeting depression. The lyrics can be a little vague, but I think it conveys the events of being depressed while its on a weekend where you have nothing to do but yearn and miss your loved one.
